Ajay Aditya Chandramouli is an Assistant Vice President and Java Full Stack Tech Lead at Citi with over 9 years of relevant experience. He is a full stack developer in Java and ExtJS who is passionate about expanding his tech knowledge set. Ajay has worked on supporting legacy applications as well as developing applications from scratch in the market risk domain. Ajay is known for working smart rather than working hard and paying attention to details that matter the most to his employers. He develops rapport with both the tech team and the app users quickly, which facilitates open communication. He prioritizes long term solutions as much as possible rather than quick and dirty fixes. Ajay has worked through tech roles starting from a junior developer to a lead, which has given him the ability to understand who has the right potential with grooming and who has the right potential to fall back on. Apart from his professional life, Ajay is passionate about playing the violin, experimenting with new musical instruments, and learning spoken languages. He is a creative person who likes brushing through concepts of philosophy focusing on comparative religion, metaphysics, syllogisms & fallacies. These have made him look back at things in life that one would take for granted and reevaluate so that it can enrich his life. Ajay completed his M.Sc. and B.E. in Mathematics and Computer Science from BITS Pilani in 2013. His tech stack includes Java, Senior Software Engineer, and Software Engineer. Ajay has worked with Citi in the past as an Apps Dev Intermed Programmer Analyst and Senior Software Developer, where he was the SME of Permitted Product List application under Institutional Clients Group business unit and worked on Market Risk Analytics & Permitted Product List applications.
